Your Role:

The Manufacturing Technician 2 - IA - 2nd Shift in Lenexa, KS is responsible for end-to-end manufacturing of custom Liquid and Dry Powder media, Buffers, and Reagents, this includes formulation, processing, dispensing, label creation and release testing. Job duties include:

  • Shift hours: 2nd shift, 3:00pm - 1:00am, Tuesday - Friday
  • Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of complex process equipment and piping.
  • Collect and analyze data with the intent to adjust processing parameters to achieve scaled success and repeatability.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of work procedures and instructions.
  • Adheres to and actively participates in all safety activities.

Physical Attributes:
  • Stand for long periods of time

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, etc.) OR
  • Associate's Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, etc.) with 2+ years of laboratory experience OR
  • High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years' of laboratory experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or other science field
  • Associate's Degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or other science field
  • Adaptable to and comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Background in Industrial Manufacturing for Pharmaceutical and Bioscience industry
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems and familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of lab scale process equipment
  • Experience with aseptic technique
  • Thrives in a collaborative and diverse environment where individual success is closely tied to achieving team goals.
  • Perform basic arithmetic and calculations
  • SAP experience
