Position: Sr. Digital Software Engineer

Community America Credit Union seeks a Sr. Digital Software Engineer for Lenexa, KS.  

Responsibilities:

The Sr. Digital Software Engineer will be responsible the following job duties: Develop and maintain best in class digital applications. Assume ownership of the software development process, from requirements gathering to deployment, working independently with minimal supervision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as designers, other software developers, and product managers, to design and implement new technology features. Utilize front-end CSS frameworks to create visually appealing web applications and optimize performance to ensure fast load times. Keep up to date with new technologies and industry trends, and continuously improve our digital products. Implement CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development) processes of web applications, ensuring that changes are tested, integrated, and deployed in a timely and efficient manner. Mentor junior software engineers and provide guidance and support on projects. Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and frameworks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Six years’ progressive experience as a Front-End Developer or in a Software Developer role or related, which must include experience in the following:
  
  
  
  
  • TypeScript;
  • React or Angular or Vue.js;
  • Integrating backend services;
  • Working in Cloud based environment;
  • CI/CD processes and web applications deployment;
  • Front-end CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap;
  • Microservice architecture; and
  • Object-oriented programming languages such as Java.
