Supply Chain Procurement Agent
Job Overview
Procurement Agents execute on activities in support of the companies supply chain strategy. Their goal is to improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs while securing high quality material for the company.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Generate purchase orders (PO’s) utilizing the MRP system.
- Manage supplier delivery schedules, effectively establishing and maintaining delivery dates for proper inventory management and production support.
- Communicating via email and phone with our suppliers and internal customers with utmost professionalism, dignity and respect.
- Obtain quotes, and negotiate pricing and terms for most cost-effective strategies.
- Engages routinely with production control and program management, while receiving and converting internal demands to supplier purchase orders.
- Effectively communicate any PO issues, or delays to requestors, management, etc.
- Resolves issues such as PO receipt discrepancies with Accounts Payable and Receiving, to inventory variances with stockroom, incoming inspection or production floor.
- Maintain safe, organized and clean working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Experience:
