Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Administrative Assistant to support HR and Labor Relations operations at the Wentzville facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both hourly and salaried employee administrative tasks, maintaining data accuracy, managing HR systems, supporting investigations, and delivering exceptional internal customer service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key point of contact for HR and Labor Relations transactional tasks and inquiries

  • Manage employee data and reporting via Workday, Kronos, and internal HR systems

  • Support onboarding processes, transactional accuracy, and departmental coordination

  • Assist in labor relations documentation, grievance tracking, records retention, and case support

  • Complete special assignments and maintain internal documentation

  • Support investigations and employee relations tasks as needed

  • Assist with union and management communication and engagement

  • Maintain HR metrics, audit readiness, and workforce reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Payroll, IT, Benefits, and third-party vendors) to resolve employee issues

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred — OR 3+ years of direct HR administrative experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — especially Excel

  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a high-paced environment

  • Experience with HR platforms such as Workday, Kronos, and Ethicspoint strongly preferred

  • Prior experience supporting unionized environments is a plus

  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
