Job Summary
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties
Develop and execute Unit testing of HDD/SSDs.
Resolve JIRA defects written as a result of test script failures.
Add new or modify existing test scripts.
Develop and maintain such release documentation as may be necessary to release a product to NetApp’s suppliers, including, but not limited to a User’s Guide and Release Notes.
Develop additional / common API’s that are required for the implementation of any new test case.
Supporting the queries/suggestions from the suppliers.
Efficient use of test equipment for development and unit testing.
Participate in weekly scrum meetings.
Contribute to the development of the next generation drive certification tool.
Adopt best in class Python and JavaScript coding practices.

Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Requirements
Must be a freshman
Knowledge of Linux.
Knowledge of Python.
Knowledge of SAN/NAS environments.
Knowledge of switch/network/server configurations.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information
