Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Training Supervisor will direct the daily activities of and work directly with hourly Trainers within the manufacturing environment. This role is a partner with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance leadership to ensure the proper instruction of accurate product specifications, Company policy, GMPs, and more. They will be responsible for continuously developing and mentoring Trainers as well as training practices and functions using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure Company standards and policies are properly taught and maintained to support company goals.
- Strategically make decisions about the distribution of tasks among Trainers for maximum efficiency.
- Verify and follow up all required training paperwork is completed with accuracy from the trainer and new hire which includes but is not limited to company required safety training and PPE review.
- Audit on-the-job training and performance of trainers with new hires.
- Coordinate with QA to ensure updates of product specifications are communicated to the Training Team.
- Review product/box audits with Training Team and teaching them to do so with new hires.
- Conduct performance reviews for Trainers and give constructive feedback and coaching.
- Maintain and audit training and tracking documents, and reports.
- Oversee coverage for absenteeism on the Training Team.
- Develop and promote positive working relationships with all Team Members, Supervisors & Management.
- Facilitate meetings with the Training Team on various topics: food safety, people safety etc.
- Must understand and have a “Creekstone Proud” mindset in order to positively enhance the company culture.
