Job Description
The Opportunity As the Vice President of Finance, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, overseeing the financial health of the organization. You will manage financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial initiatives to ensure TFC’s long-term success. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of nonprofit financial management, grant funding, and regulatory compliance. Team Structure & Direct Reports As Vice President of Finance, you will oversee the Accounting Team. You will lead a team of approximately 6-7 finance professionals, providing guidance, oversight, and professional development. Your leadership will ensure that the finance team operates efficiently and effectively to meet the organization’s financial goals. Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring fiscal health and sustainability.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Lead financial compliance efforts, including grant management and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and financial planning.
- Manage and mentor the finance team to support operational excellence.
- Act as a key liaison to the Board of Directors and Finance Committee.
