Job Description
Requirements:
- Seal, fillet and fay, cap seal, brush coat, etc. for major assemblies, sub-assemblies, precision bench and integral fuel cell.
- Apply scotch cast, levelling compound, aerodynamic seal, and pressure test, working from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements and established processes and procedures.
- The Company will provide appropriate assistance in job training to enable employees to perform all necessary job functions including the following:
- Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, work orders, etc. sealing to quality requirements.
- Complete required data gathering transactions to facilitate all sealer progression.
- Perform all required pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional testing or check during or after final seal and/or seal progression.
- Use measuring instruments as required to accomplish work assignments
- Report and/or investigate job handicaps such as errors, assembly procedures, tools, sequences, etc.
- Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training, coaching, and assisting employees of all classification levels.
- Document any discrepancies according to specification, process, and procedure.
- Temporarily attach parts and or assemblies, install collars and other hardware not related to drilling or countersinking.
- Integral Fuel Cell Sealing - Apply sealing compounds to seal fuel cell and related wing
- section components.
- Additionally, the employee must have the skill and knowledge to perform one or more of the skills listed below, along with any lower-level sealant level described below:
- Sealer - Major Assembly / Large structure sealing / Aerodynamic seal
