Job Description

Essential Functions

- Provides for the safety, stability and well-being of children and families during the referral period

- Delivers culturally competent, strengths-based case management services to children and families consistent with the        evidence-based practice models

- Establishes ongoing communication with foster parents to understand needs and coordinate appropriate responses/referrals

- Assists with obtaining missing documents/supplies needed by the foster parents to provide adequate care for the child(ren)      along with linking children/families with community resources

- Assists in completing reports and providing administrative support as needed

- Supports TFFH specialists in program management to ensure guidelines are followed

- Assists in coordinating and hosting events

- Facilitates development and implementation of support groups, Pressley Ridge and other training, mentoring, and incentives      for both children and parents, including on-site activities for children and youth, and a virtual option for families when needed

- Provides 24/7 availability to respond to and assist with emergency situations

- Tracks TFFH training hours

- Completes Monthly Audits and monthly record requests for TFFH homes and children

- Tracks Incentives for TFFH homes

- Gathers renewal paperwork for the assigned worker from the TFFH home

- Completes annual TFFH Family Assessments

- Assists in locating respite for TFFHs

- Assists in monitoring billing

- Assists in creating flyers and other materials for the TFFH Program

- Enters data as requested into the electronic records system

- Assists with community outreach regarding TFFH as requested

- Attends visits with TFFH specialists and helps with some documentation

- Answers all communications (phone calls, texts, emails, letters) and responds in a timely manner

- Requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality

- Performs clerical duties as required

- Compiles data collection from staff and submits required reports

- Reviews inventory levels of supplies monthly

- Job may require the employee to be able to regularly drive to various DCCCA locations and other business locations    throughout the day including early morning or evening hours

Education, Experience, and Licensure

- Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)

- Requires at least two years of experience

- Requires a detailed understanding of foster parenting

- Must possess a valid state Driver's License, in force automobile liability insurance, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)    that meets organization's insurability standard as defined by DCCCA policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required    for this position
