Job Description
Work Hours
- Variable hours are Mon-Fri, 4am-6:00pm, subject to adjustment for specific routes and for overall workload.
- Occasional overtime required, depending upon overall workload.
- Out of Town 2 non-consecutive nights a week depending on assigned routes.
Job requirements:
- The KS. Department of Transportation outlines certain minimum qualifications for commercial driving employees.
- Commercial driver’s license (Class A)
- This position requires a valid DOT Medical Card
- Unloading, and delivery of glass products and or aluminum framing.
- Duties include handling of glass, aluminum, and other allied products.
- Requires lifting glass and related products weighing up to 75lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Physical activities with these weights include lifting products from truck body racks, carrying product, stooping, bending sitting, driving, climbing onto truck body and into cab, and twisting.
- Dependable transportation to and from work (required)
- Negative drug screen and successful physical capacity profile test (required)
- Clean MVR -
Skills/Tools:
- Prior driving experience preferred.
- Good Communications skills
