JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Float Banking Center Assistant Manager to join our team at First Federal Bank of Kansas City (FFBKC). In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our banking center network by seamlessly covering shifts due to employee absences or staffing requirements. The Float Banking Center Assistant Manager will be responsible for maintaining high customer service standards, actively promoting FFBKC's products and services, and contributing to the overall success of the banking center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Customer Service Excellence:
    • Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing general inquiries, processing transactions, opening accounts, and handling loan applications while adhering to established guidelines.
    • Manage inbound and outbound calls to both prospective and established customers.
  2. Sales and Service Support:
    • Proactively recommend FFBKC's products and services to existing customers and prospects.
    • Engage in Needs-Based conversations with customers, demonstrating proficiency in sales techniques.
    • Contribute to achieving branch goals by supporting a sales and service culture within the branch.
  3. Operational Support:
    • Assist with complex transactions, including overrides and functions requiring additional authorization levels.
    • Ensure proper documentation for transactions and compliance with all applicable banking laws and regulations.
  4. Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and opportunities within the banking center network.
    • Offer ideas and suggestions to management for plans of action to address training needs.
    • Conduct on-the-spot sales and service coaching sessions with banking center team members.
