Job Title: Part-Time Marketing & Administrative Support Staff

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing & Administrative Support Staff member to assist in executing marketing strategies, managing social media presence, and providing administrative support to our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, marketing, and community engagement within Kansas.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Social Media Support
- Content Creation: Develop and publish engaging content for web and various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, to promote FlagshipKansas.Tech initiatives and events.
- Campaign Management: Assist in brainstorming and executing marketing campaigns that align with organizational goals.
- Analytics Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of social media, website, and marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Administrative Support
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and promoting events such as the Ad Astra Tech Summit, including managing RSVPs, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics and volunteers.
- Database Management: Update and maintain member and sponsor databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Invoice Management: Manage invoicing and payment processing for memberships, event registration, and sponsorships, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.
- Communication: Draft and proofread communications, including newsletters, emails, reports, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Board Support: Contribute to the advancement of the FlagshipKansas.Tech mission by providing administrative assistance to the Board of Directors and Committees as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in marketing, social media management, or administrative support is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms; familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and Canva) is a plus.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
