Job Description
Hours: 5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday
Looking for experienced Fabricators capable of handling high-volume production work. Candidates must be able to measure, cut, and assemble metal components with precision and efficiency. Proficiency with tools such as grinders, saws, and torches, along with a strong focus on productivity and meeting deadlines in a dynamic work environment, is essential.
Fabrication Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate rotary chop saw and band saw to cut pipe to length
- Handle movement of pipe along the length of table and off load to a cart or crate for staging in loading area
- Operate Victaulic or Pace Grooving machine for a grooved pipe end process
- Operate bench grinder to apply required end to threaded rod for application of hanger devices
- Push pipe carts of pipe to load area for loading purposes
- Operate pneumatic staple gun to staple cardboard box to pallet
- Use forklift when necessary to retrieve materials and move pipe
- Operate threader to apply thread to desired pipe
- Operate Mercury or Pace Make on machine in order to apply fitting to desired pipe
- Operate band saw in order to cut threaded rod to specified lengths
- Install hanger devices to specified lengths of threaded rod
- Handle additional tasks necessary to fulfill the needs of the company and the customer as deemed by the fabrication lead, fabrication manager, or branch operations manager
Fabrication Requirements:
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Sit-down forklift experience preferred
- Good attendance is a must
