Job Description

Overview: 

Our global consultancy client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Motion Graphic Designer to lead and influence strategic visions, producing innovative solutions for complex business challenges. The role involves creating high-quality motion graphic content, including animated graphics, infographics, kinetic typography, and video editing.

The Basics:

  • Offering 40 hours per week.
  • Fully Remote, 9am-6pm EST schedule preferred.
  • 3 Month duration to start with a possibility to extend.
  • Candidates from the following locations are eligible to apply: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Portland, St. Louis.
  • Candidates located in NY, NJ, CT, VA, Washington DC, Seattle WA, or CA are unable to be presented.

Top 3 Skills Required:

  1. Creative Thinking: Ability to exhibit a range of varied styles and techniques.
  2. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and third-party plugins.
  3. Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize milestones, and deliver solutions within time and budget.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia/Digital Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Digital creative portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and design skills.
  • At least 5+ years of related motion design experience.
  • Knowledge of typography, brand colors, images, and fonts.
  • Experience in 3D modeling/animation (Cinema 4D) preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of video production techniques, sound mixing, and color correction.
  • Strong understanding of video formats and compression techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and create assets, bringing them to life with high-quality motion graphic content.
  • Create complex animated graphics, infographics, kinetic typography, and pre/post-production video.
  • Edit raw video footage, adding elements to enhance motion graphics.
  • Produce project deliverables specializing in animation, audio, and video.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives.
  • Lead project teams in motion graphic processes, methods, and techniques.
  • Pitch ideas to clients and comprehend their vision.
  • Engage in creative ideation sessions and anticipate client needs.
  • Estimate time and track budgets effectively.
  • Work directly with clients, assessing their needs and providing creative solutions.
  • Utilize stock footage and music libraries, and collaborate with external agencies for voice-over talent.
