Job Description
Industrial Controls Technician
Immediate opportunities are available for talented Industrial Controls Technician who wants to become part of the Johnson Controls team. Our Factory Specialist reads and comprehends electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints and schematics and performs troubleshooting and repairs of these systems. Works together with Engineering and helps implement new procedures/processes.
What You’ll Do:

Support Lean, Six Sigma and Best Business Practices projects, including investigation, buy-in and roll out of projects completed across the division

Collaborates with Quality Control and manufacturing personnel to ensure that process and equipment produce a product that meets or exceeds Quality Control and Engineering standards.

Leverage Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies to ensure performance specifications are met before releasing new processes to production.

Use analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root cause issues, identify solutions, monitor new processes (including new equipment and tools), and collaborate to course correct, when needed.

Use effective time management to implement improvement projects on-time.

Ensure work is performed in adherence to good housekeeping and safety practices.

Use effective and clear communication keep management and critical stakeholders informed.

Provide written communication, documentation, and reports.
