Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Keep the stockroom organized and clean.
- Properly prepare for the next machine operation by reading blueprints in advance, procuring materials as needed, and placing them in the correct location.
- Ensures that the setup packet, program, prints, charts, and fixtures and cutters are up to date and available.
- Operate and inspect forklift daily.
- Effectively utilize horizontal band saw by accurately measuring parts and cutting materials correctly.
- Work closely with Shop Manager to ensure operations are moving smoothly and making course corrections.
- Troubleshoots quality issues as they arise.
- Organizes materials in an efficient and effective way.
- Other job duties as assigned.
