Must live in the following counties: Brown, Doniphan, Nemaha, Marshal, Atchison, Leavenworth, Jefferson, Jackson, Pottawatomie, Riley, Geary
UCI (Underage Cooperating Individual). Minors will attempt to purchase tobacco and vape products to find compliance rates for the State of Kansas and the Food and Drug Administration.
(Must be reliable, honest, and cannot have a criminal background)
Individuals must complete a UCI application. Must meet in person with at least one legal guardian (16-17) to answer any questions.
UNDERAGE COOPERATING INDIVIDUALS WILL CONDUCT CONTROLLED UNDERAGE BUYS OF TOBACCO AND VAPE PRODUCTS. THE UCI WILL VISIT TOBACCO RETAILERS THOUGHOUT THE STATE TO VERIFY RETAILERS' SALES COMPLIANCE WITH THE STATE AGE REQUIREMENT. MUST BE RELIABLE, HONEST, AND WITHOUT A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND. INDIVIDUALS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE MUST HAVE PARENTAL/GURDIAN PERMISSION.
