Job Description
Don Hattan Dealerships is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Search Marketing Specialist to lead and execute our search engine optimization (SEO) and paid search (PPC) strategies. This role is crucial in increasing our online visibility, driving qualified traffic to our websites, and ultimately contributing to sales and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine marketing best practices, a proven track record of achieving measurable results, and the ability to adapt to the evolving digital landscape. While the primary focus will be on SEO and Paid Search, this position may also involve other digital marketing tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement SEO Strategies: Conduct comprehensive keyword research, perform technical SEO audits, optimize website content and structure, build high-quality backlinks, and monitor SEO performance to improve organic search rankings across all dealership websites.
- Manage and Optimize Paid Search Campaigns: Plan, create, and manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads, etc.) including keyword selection, ad copy creation, bid management, landing page optimization, and budget allocation to maximize ROI.
- Monitor and Analyze Performance: Track, analyze, and report on key SEO and PPC metrics (rankings, traffic, conversions, cost-per-acquisition, etc.) using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously research and stay informed about the latest search engine algorithms, industry best practices, and emerging trends in SEO and paid search.
- Manage Budgets Effectively: Ensure efficient spending of the paid search budget to achieve optimal results within allocated resources.
- Generate Regular Performance Reports: Provide clear and concise reports on the performance of SEO and paid search initiatives, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Potentially Manage Other Digital Marketing Tasks: Depending on the candidate's skillset and business needs, there may be opportunities to contribute to other digital marketing efforts such as social media marketing, event marketing, or website analytics.
Qualifications:
- Approximately 3 years of proven experience in managing and executing successful SEO and paid search campaigns.
- In-depth understanding of SEO principles, on-page and off-page optimization techniques, and technical SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing paid search campaigns on platforms like Google Ads.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and search console platforms (e.g., Google Search Console).
- Excellent understanding of keyword research tools and methodologies.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
