About This Role
The department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology (https://www.vet.k-state.edu/education/dmp/) and Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (https://www.ksvdl.org/) at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine are offering a 3-year residency in veterinary Toxicology.
The position is available starting July 1, 2025 The goals of the residency program are to prepare trainees for a career as a veterinary toxicologist via a solid understanding of the toxicologic effects of various toxicants on an animal system, laboratory methods to detect these toxicants, and quality control, as well as prepare residents for successful completion of the American Board of Veterinary Toxicology certification examination.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree by July 1, 2025
- The chosen candidate for the position will be required to obtain Kansas Veterinary licensure through the Kansas Board of Veterinary Examiners (https://kbve.kansas.gov/)
