Job Description
This position will include (and pay for) a 6 week A&P fast track training course and completion of testing to acquire your Airframe and Powerplant license in Wichita, KS.
Candidates must already have their 8610-2 sign offs to test out for the A&P license; or already have their Airframe and Powerplant certifications.
Job Description
- We are seeking former Military Personnel who have a signed 8610-2 application from a FSDO to join our team as Aircraft Mechanics.
- This is a contract to direct hire opportunity where candidates will undergo a comprehensive onboarding process, including a 6-week A&P fast track training course, culminating in testing for their A&P license.
- Perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on corporate jet aircraft.
- Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, ensuring aircraft are safe and properly documented.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components according to approved technical data.
- Ensure all departing aircraft comply with FARs and manufacturer manuals.
