The City of Coffeyville is seeking applications for the position of Apprentice Utility Person (1st year) in Electric Generation Department.
Position duties include: participate in operation, maintenance and repair of power plant; assist in performance of tests on water; operate variety of equipment needed for maintaining and repairing power plant. Shift work required. Must be able to complete self-study apprentice program and on the job training. Successful applicant must pass written test, physical exam and drug test. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Pay starts at $18.97/hour with excellent benefits package. Applicants must be willing to meet City of Coffeyville residency requirement to live within 50 miles of City Hall at 7th and Walnut in Coffeyville. Applications accepted until position filled. EOE
