Job Description
Direct pharmacy operations to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization.
- Direct the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of the department.
- Accountable for department staffing and capacity planning.
- Oversee the development, monitoring of and compliance with departmental budget(s).
- Utilize broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to direct departmental operations and ensure accountability for the department's compliance.
- Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors.
- Implement specialty quality initiatives in the areas of patient safety, the Joint Commission, specialty accreditation, and performance improvement. Participate in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment. Implement and monitor compliance with revenue integrity processes.
