Job Description

South Central Mental Health (SCMH) is currently recruiting a full-time Crisis Clinician who will work with a diverse population, including children and adults.  Qualified candidates must be licensed by the BSRB.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide crisis evaluations, hospital screens, hospital discharge appointments, emergency intakes, walk-ins, competency evaluations, and PASSR screens. 
2. Provide education and consultation services to the community on an “as needed” basis.
3. Provide treatment summaries/updates as requested by community partners.
4. Provide Mobile Crisis Response.
5. Must be available for on call hours as needed. 
6. Attend meetings and collaborate with peers and other team members regarding consumer’s treatment.  
7. Maintain clinical records routinely and in a timely manner.  All records will be subject to utilization review.
8. Sustain a high level of professional competence through continuing education and clinical supervision.
9. Maintain all professional credentialing requirements.
10. Adhere to the standards of ethics for mental health professionals.
11. Follow all policies and procedures of the agency.
12. Provide other duties as assigned.
