Summary

The Sr App Development Analyst will work closely with the Lead Application Developer on highly complex cross-enterprise critical projects that deliver strategic technology solutions to accelerate our product realization process. The ideal candidate possesses a mix of strong technical (programming) and architectural know-how and experience.  The role includes application analysis, solution design, development, integration and enhancement across multiple sites, and on multiple concurrent projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads development of technical solutions that align with NSE PRIDE objectives.
  • Engages stakeholders, product owners to gather functional and non-functional requirements and align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Evaluates technologies to ensure compatibility with the project scope and technical objectives.
  • Designs end-to-end technical solutions and creates detailed architectural blueprints.
  • Creates and maintains solution documentation, design specifications, data flow diagrams, and system integration plans.
  • Ensures the proposed architecture aligns with enterprise guidelines, security requirements, and best practices.
  • Plans and guides the integration of new systems or applications with existing infrastructure.
  • Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code which may include Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) configurations. 
  • Ensure that the solution meets quality standards, including compliance with coding practices and security protocols.

 

You Must Have
  • Five or more years of direct work experience 
  • Bachelors degree, certification or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree and certification   
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business 
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time  
  • United States Citizenship 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations) 
We Value
  • Experience with Product Realization Integrated Digital Enterprise (PRIDE).
  • Adaptability to change and the ability to manage, prioritize and execute on multiple tasks at any given time.
  • Dedicated specific experience in the following languages and applications (i.e., SQL, Python, HTML, JAVA, GitLab).  
  • Experience with Agile, SAFe methodology & Tools (e.g. JIRA, JIRA Align).
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Experience using UAF, SysML, Archimate or similar architecture languages and tools (Cameo/Abacus etc).
  • Industry knowledge of manufacturing, government, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). 
  • Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training. 

Compensation Data 
$97,000 - $152,000
