Job Description
FIX IT UP Maintenance Technician at Meadowlark in Manhattan, Kan. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Environmental Services team. Maintenance Technicians at Meadowlark maintain facility equipment in an efficient manner, including preventative and seasonal maintenance on a large campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and implementation of maintenance operations across grounds, buildings, and equipment.
- Participate in weekend on call rotation
- Inspect the facility, as directed, to ensure that the grounds, plant and equipment are maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures and all hazardous areas are properly identified. Assure safety for all residents, employees and visitors.
- Assist in inspecting, maintaining, and testing the fire alarm and emergency systems in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintain appropriate records of test results.
- Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, and implementing of the Maintenance Department to assure that the maintenance of the grounds, building, and equipment are maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility, ground, and equipment to include snow removal, sweeping, trimming, plumbing, plastering, painting, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc, as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
- Responsible for establishing a priority system on unscheduled maintenance and perform such tasks as directed.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining an effective preventative maintenance program of cleaning, painting, etc. of the facility, equipment, etc. as necessary/approved.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering positive relationships with residents.
