Job Description
SummaryThe Applications Development Analyst I is responsible for application design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and technical support.
Duties and Responsibilities- Works directly with business customers and technical teams on assigned projects.
- Performs analysis, design, development, and testing of business solutions.
- Analyzes, designs, and implements well-documented solutions for assigned features.
- Collaborates with technical teams to improve product functionality.
- Participates in code reviews, quality assurance activities, and practices.
- Stays up-to-date with application roadmaps, relevant technology, and industry best practices.
- Identifies and resolves application security vulnerabilities.
- Applies application patches and/or collaborates with other teams to ensure application stack is patched against known vulnerabilities.
- Supporting SAP S/4HANA applications within a private cloud environment (NS2) or on premise.
- Bachelors degree, certification, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors or certification
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
- Functional proficiency in the following: development and applications (e.g., SQL, Python, HTML, JAVA).
- Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
- Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training.
- Coursework or job experience related to:
- SAP S/4HANA & ECC module exposure (FI, MM, SD, PP, CO, HR/HCM, SCM,EWM).
- Systems Analysis and Design methodologies.
- ERP Systems implementation/simulation projects.
- University coursework or related job experience associated to SAP that includes: ABAP development, BTP Integration Suite, OData services, SAC, BW4HANA.
