Labette Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team, serving patients in both the Acute Care and Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) settings. We are a progressive, patient-focused hospital committed to delivering high-quality care and achieving excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for patients recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, function, and quality of life
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nurses, case managers, and other therapists
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Kansas, or eligible for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
