Position Summary: The Pre-Process Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all front-end operational activities at the facility. This role ensures seamless coordination between departments handling incoming materials, new product integration, DPD and Engineering, and scheduling. The manager will monitor planning accuracy, validate pricing, expedite critical orders, and resolve issues with orders on hold, ensuring readiness for production and alignment with customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the teams responsible for Receiving, NPI (New Product Integration), DPD (Digital Product Definition), and Scheduling, ensuring alignment with production goals and customer requirements.
  • Oversee planning operations to ensure accurate interpretation of customer specifications and compliance with aerospace processing standards.
  • Supervise the validation of pricing for incoming orders, ensuring consistency with contractual terms and internal cost structures.
  • Direct the prioritization and expediting of critical orders, coordinating with internal departments to meet delivery commitments.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to orders on hold, guiding the team through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of comprehensive work instructions and process documentation for new and existing products.
  • Provide strategic oversight of engineering drawing and model analysis to identify configuration changes and processing needs.
  • Maintain system data, including specifications, work centers, and process flows, through team collaboration.
  • Facilitate training and development for team members on planning systems and operational best practices.
  • Track departmental performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all supervised functions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Production, and Quality teams to ensure front-end readiness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years in planning, scheduling, or aerospace operations.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
