Job Description
Job Title: Architectural/MEP Drafter
Job Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for laying out and producing technical drawings and 3D models for commercial and industrial projects using AutoCAD and Revit programs
- Produce accurate and detailed architectural/engineering drafts
- Incorporate red line changes in existing drawings
- Upload models and follow the BIM Coordination process through to final signoff
- Collaborate with customers, engineers and project stakeholders
- Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor
Job Qualifications:
- Proven drafting experience using 3D modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks)
- Must have a strong understanding of industry standards and codes
- Must have a strong attention to detail and eye for continuity
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy is a must
- A strong understanding of MEP systems is highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-7 years’ experience in drafting large scope commercial/civil construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
- Additional drafting certifications is preferred, but not required
