Job Description
Position: IT Services Technician
As an IT Services Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch IT support to our diverse clientele, including schools, hospitals, and small businesses in rural Kansas. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional customer service skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients' IT issues.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including DNS, TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, and VLAN configuration.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and remote management tools.
- Administer and support Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Oversee print management, file sharing, and backup & disaster recovery processes.
- Perform server migration and virtualization tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement IT solutions and strategies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Implement and manage basic cybersecurity measures, including antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, and patch management.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
- Educate clients on basic cybersecurity practices and protocols.
- Wage: $18-$30
