The Technology Support Specialist position provides a full range of services necessary for the operation of College of Health Professions (CHP) computers and will primarily serve labs, patient serving clinics, as well as faculty and staff in assigned departments. This position will be a member of a fantastic team in the CHP Dean’s Office.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Provides technical support to department users and campus community. Documents processes, coordinates with vendors, provides system recommendations as needed. May train staff on system usage.
Provides problem recognition, research and resolution including recommending action(s) to resolve user inquires.
Collaborates with application vendors to revise system configuration to meet business needs. Documents application functionalities and enhancements.
Assists with training and needs assessment process.
Provides administrative support on assigned tasks and projects.
