You have proven to be proficient as a registered nurse and are now looking for a new way to sharpen your skills. As part of our site RN Float Pool, you will be lending your knowledge and experience to Cardiac Specialty, Orthopedic Spine & Specialty and Medical / Surgical departments. Meeting new colleagues, observing different techniques, and keeping your specialty skills in use will add to the upward momentum of your RN journey.

Responsibilities:
The role of the Non-Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director of the department to which the RN is assigned for his or her shift.
The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
The Registered Nurse in the Non-Critical Care Float Pool position provides care for acutely ill patients in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
Ability to achieve and maintain BCLS certification required. ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
Must have at least two (2) years RN experience in an acute care hospital in Med/Surg, PCU or ICU specialty areas.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
