Linen Services Supervisor

Position Summary / Career Interest:The Linen Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations within the Laundry Department throughout the Health System. This position supervises linen distribution and teammates for assigned shift.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operations of linen distribution throughout all Laundry Departments across the Health System for assigned shift.
Trains all Laundry team members on the policies, procedures, and software used to maintain the laundry inventory.
Interviews job applicants, making recommendations for hiring, promotions and transfers.
Accountable for the overall performance, productivity, and conduct of staff being supervised. Completes Performance Appraisals on all assigned staff in a timely fashion.
Responds to escalated department/unit concerns.
Manages resources within the department.
Responsible for managing Kronos signoffs on timecards.
*Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of Housekeeping/Laundry or other similar experience
Preferred:
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
