Reporting directly to the Strategic Operating Capabilities Manager this position leads optimization initiatives across KAES production assets. What You Will Do In Your Role
Lead Plant personnel assigned to project commissioning and Project Managers to successfully commission and start-up expansion projects
Drive innovation of Operations work processes to advance vision for Plant of the Future
Collaborate with Plant Operations Managers to drive Principled Operations Fundamentals
Assist Plant Operations Managers and Training resources in continuous improvement of training and procedure usage, including simulators and emerging tools
Develop, and communicate strategies, goals, and objectives to promote key elements of Operator Basic Care
The Experience You Will BringRequirements:
5+ years' experience within operations of a PSM covered manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of "Conduct Operations and Operational Discipline" Principles
Experience in training, developing, and leading Plant Operators
Working knowledge and Operations experience in commissioning, preparing, and executing plant expansion and/or turnaround projects
What Will Put You Ahead
Operations and/or Engineering experience in Ammonia, Methanol, Hydrogen, or other syngas production facilities
Previous experience with Nitrogen fertilizer Upgrades facilities- Urea, Nitric Acid, Ammonium Nitrate solutions, etc.
Experience with on-line training systems, process simulators, and/or technologies geared toward innovating the role of Operators
Engineering or technical degree (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
