The CIP team is responsible for performing the proper cleaning and sanitizing to all equipment and production areas of the facility.
Maintain Good Manufacturing Processes
Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, production areas, packaging equipment, warehouse and food ingredient receiving and shipping areas to proper protocols and specifications meeting food safety requirements
Inspects, promotes, and maintains adherence to food safety cleanliness in the handling of product, ingredients, and finished goods using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety Standards
Ensures all chemical containers are correctly labeled
Understands chemical or non-chemical pest control systems
Keeps neat, accurate records of all work performed daily
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area
Follow all required work safe practices, wears all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, etc.
Report any food safety, quality, or safety related issues to management
Organized and high level of attention to detail
