Job Description

The Contract Analyst will serve as a business contact for our clients regarding managed care contracts and will be responsible in maintaining client commercial and government contracts. A trusted advisor and liaison to the client, serving as the primary contact for our customers regarding contracts.

What you'll be doing:
  • Responsible for implementing contract terms inWaystar's Contract Management solution
  • Perform validation of contract terms by reviewing account examples and confirming correct contract term and expected reimbursement generated
  • Manage the contract workflow to ensure timely and accurate implementation of contracts
  • Responsible for collaborating with client during contract interpretation and validation stages

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelordegree
  • 1 yearofcontract analyst experience in healthcare software or healthcare consulting environment
  • Ability to interpret contract language from managed care contracts
  • Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines from CMS, Tricare, and Medicaid websites
  • Ability to understand the vocabulary used in a hospital's revenue cycle operations, including healthcare coding such as DRGs, CPT/HCPC, Revenue Codes, APG and APC

  • An in-depth subject matter expertise and dedication to remaining current with industry and/or relevant legislative changes and advances
  • Must be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Detail-oriented
  • Prior experience working in a contract management role preferred
