The Domain Architect designs complex systems and tools. This role will develop and implement infrastructure to provide detailed design of systems within a DevOps team, focusing on applications and services architecture. Participates in defining domain strategy and ensuring alignment within the domain; facilitates hand-off of implementation to other Dev Op team members to deliver and follow patterns. The Domain Architect will also ensure solution architecture that optimizes for flexibility, re-use, scalability, performance and availability within the domain. Partners with dependent domain architects to ensure architecture is aligned with upstream and downstream systems.The BTPS Domain Architect will focus on billing domain solutions supporting two key areas for the organization; CaMO Streaming Conversions and Billing modernization efforts. In support of the CaMO Streaming Conversions project the candidate will continue eligibility domain support for the remaining releases while exploring additional projection, customer treatment, and data preparation use cases to further the eligibility engine's value to the business. Billing modernization efforts will focus on introducing new technologies into billing practices for improved customer experiences and billing assurance capabilities.
