Job Description

Position Overview

Responsible for performing a variety of inventory control tasks such as, pulling and kitting parts, stocking parts on inventory shelves, physical inventory counts and issuing parts to technicians at a will-call window.

Primary Responsibilities

• Pick finished goods and parts in accordance with sales order requirements
• Post inventory and accurately assign serial numbers for outgoing product in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
• Labels and accurately locates daily received finished goods into proper inventory stocking location
• Delivers parts to labs or inspection in a timely manner to meet customer requirements
• Pulls parts for kits for new product manufacturing
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required 
• Minimum one year experience with inventory transactions, bill of materials, cycle counts and purchase orders preferred
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Organized, focused, and results-oriented
• Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel        

Work Conditions

• Frequent computer and phone use
• Handling, counting, and packaging high quantity of parts weighing just a few ounces to up to 30 lbs
• Moving parts from one area of the building to another, cart use available
• Loading, unloading, stacking, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, walking 
• Repeated climbing up and down of stairs
• Conveyor belt is available to move heavy parts to second level. 
• Stock room second floor is open metal grate
• Well-lit, temperature-controlled, clean environment
