Description
• Student will apply welding safety and develop skills in gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) processes.
This includes applying the knowledge of basic welding techniques through the use of principles of operation.
The student will review power sources and polarities, modes of filler metal transfer, filler metal identification and use to code welding procedures in various positions with fillet and groove welds, and maintenance of GTAW equipment.
