Description
This 90-hour course is designed for individuals seeking an entry-level position in the area of adult health care. This course includes a study of the aging process and its related conditions and the nursing skills required in assisting geniatric residents to reach and maintain their highest levelof wellness consistent with the limitations imposed by the aging process. Students receive classroom instruction and hand-on clinical instruction. At the conclusion of the training course, students will complete a state examination.
