This course includes the study of medications and their physiological effect on the body. Emphasis will
be placed on the identification and abbreviation of drugs, weights and measures, and procedures used in
dispensing medication. The curriculum is approved by the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability
Services / Health Occupations Credentialing-KDADS/HOC.
