Description

The Automotive Technology program at Manhattan Tech is a two-year, four-semester program that prepares students for an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. The program provides necessary training to diagnose, test, and repair modern cars and light trucks. Graduates are ready for positions as entry-level automotive technicians, service writers, and with experience, service managers and automotive repair business owners.


The Automotive Technology program at Manhattan Tech is an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) certified program. Students in the program have the option to be certified by the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) in refrigerant recover/recycling.


This program aligns with the Kansas Board of Regents Curriculum.
