Possible shift: 8:00AM-4:00PM. 35-40+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Annuals, Foliage, Greenery, Perennials, Vines. Duties may include: start plants, take cuttings, transplant, place rows of flats on floor, space plants to cultivate, mow, grow, re-space as reqd. Clean-up. Load/unload carts. Push flats over conveyor rollers onto table turning frame. Transfer flats-racks. May perform groundskeeping of facility. Manual, motorized tool use all day. Quality Control applies: Transplant rate: not less than 50 flats or 60 bskts per hr. Load: not less than 4 full cart equivalent loads/hr. Dump, recycle flats not less than 75 flats or 100 bskts per hr & other related Nursery Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 ( On-the-job training provided. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hrs may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. Cell phone use allowable during designated breaks.
Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show legal authorization to work in the United States. Cash advances may apply at employer discretion.

The employer will furnish cooking facilities, utilities, and utensils for workers to prepare their own meals. Employer will provide transportation to grocery store at least once a week for workers who wish to shop for food.

Pursuant to DOL Regulations 20 CFR 655.122(h) (3) the employer will provide transportation between the housing provided or secured by the employer and the employers work site at no cost to the worker.
