Job Description

Retail Bank Training Specialist
Wichita, KS

Responsibilities and Expectations:
Facilitate Training Sessions
Coordinate/Deliver training through effective teaching methodologies and tools (mix of computer based training, conference calls, classroom and/or webinars).
Maintain proficiency in new techniques in corporate training.
Work with supervisor to determine training needs and to schedule and facilitate training sessions.
Prepare educational material used in training
Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement
Monitor employee performance and response to training
Provide training support to areas of the bank as directed
Periodic overnight travel to other Equity Bank markets required as needed. Travel is anticipated to be 10-20% during normal course of business
Video Production
Create and produce high-quality instructional training videos
Edit video for a variety of lengths and a variety of platforms
Contribute to the strategic development of creative initiatives involving video production
Advise on the purchase of equipment, hardware, and software.
Train team members on video and effects skills to grow the department’s capabilities
Stay up to date on the latest trends in video production and storytelling.
Use creativity and “outside of the box” thinking to identify opportunities for micro-learning videos
Demonstrate Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations
Understand and follow applicable laws and regulations for your job responsibilities, including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethics and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Information Security, Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements, policies and procedures.
Follow deposit account opening procedures and internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as appropriate for this position.
Complete periodic compliance training.
Experience Needed
Strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills
Demonstrated Training experience
Knowledge of common video editing software
Exceptional editing ability including: video, effects, coloring and sound
Ability to work collaboratively, comfortable sharing ideas
Strong working knowledge on proper use of all video equipment (including microphones and lights)
Ability to optimize productions for remote/virtual environments
Proven ability to produce high quality work on tight deadlines
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and e-learning software
2+ years Retail Banking experience preferred
College degree preferred; certification in training is a plus
