Job Description

REQUIREMENTS: Hours assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager as directed by job assignment and client contract. Must maintain regular and timely attendance. Must be customer service oriented, possess excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills as well as be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook. Must also be able to perform routine foot patrol and do moderate lifting. If applicable to the location you are assigned, must be able to meet and continue to meet all applicable licensing requirements for Security Officers based on state, county and/or municipal regulations.

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel at your assigned site location. Also, observe and report activity and incidents at assigned location and provide access control as directed by post orders.

Responsible for, but not limited to the following:
? Assist in securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, etc. ? Regulating and directing traffic, as necessary ? Effectively interact and communicate with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public ? Complete daily and special reports by recording observations and information ? Pursuant to the post orders, respond to alarm signals (fire, medical emergency, inclement weather, safety and/or security threats, etc.) ? Being alert to observe, correct, and report safety and security hazards ? Provide effective access and exit controls according to the post orders ? Deter safety and security threats by maintaining visibility ? Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct ? Promote safety to prevent accidents ? Comply with all established post orders, which may include: the checking of employee badges, inspecting and logging information on trucks entering or leaving facilities, conducting walks of perimeters and/or interior offices and doors. ? Comply with all client and company policies and procedures ? Ensure the needs of the client are consistently met in a timely and efficient manner ? Properly and thoroughly complete DAR’s (Daily Activity Reports) ? Comply with DSI’s Uniform Standards ? Report all accidents, illnesses, or injuries immediately to the Site and/or Branch Management ? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results ? All other duties that are required and / or assigned
