Job Description
  • J-Standard-001 Certification is strongly preferred **

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for PCB assemblies and repairs primarily for the Environmental Engineering department. Interpret and comprehend bills of materials and assembly drawings.

•Solder PCB assemblies and perform repairs as directed by the Environmental Engineering department’s needs.
•Interpret soldering standards, guides, bills of materials, and assembly drawings as it relates to the specific customer project.
•Follow Quality Documentation Manual procedures to handle customer product and perform job duties.
•Evaluate and maintain soldering equipment for all engineering departments.
•Maintain environmental engineering lab components inventory.
•Train and evaluate other technical personnel on proper soldering techniques and equipment care.
•Enter all required work order data into an Order Management Computer System.
•Assist Engineering with documentation as needed.
•Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE (List as required or preferred)
Experience: Minimum of two years of soldering experience preferred; previous industry experience preferred.
•Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.
•Utilize effective communication skills to achieve required results.
•Anticipate and resolve complex, non-routine problems.
•Demonstrated ability to melt and apply solder to repair misaligned or damaged assemblies using solder-specific equipment.
•Define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions and drive corrective actions.
