Job Description

Pratt Industries USA is seeking a full time EDI Coordinator to join our applications team in Wichita, KS.

Development, integration and support of EDI and eCommerce business initiatives. Applicant will develop EDI definitions and maps for ANSI and EDIFACT transaction sets, monitor and support daily EDI processing, and communicate and coordinate projects with customers, business partners and outside resources. This is a client facing position which requires excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to follow up, perform diagnosis and provide resolution.
Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience. Some travel is required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science (or similar), upcoming degree completion, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with ANSI/EDI transaction sets.
Knowledge of SQL and programming.
Experience with Oracle/MSSQL database.
Strong problem solving skills.
Beneficial Qualifications/Experience:
Linux/Unix/Windows Server environments.
Linux/Windows Shell scripting
Experience with IBM Sterling Gentran or IBM Sterling B2B Integrator products.
Oracle PLSQL
Object-Oriented Programming skills with modern languages (.Net, Java, Java Web, SQL, PHP)

Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, sit and stand. Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
