Job Description


- Position Summary:

- The PC Technician is responsible for providing first to
second level technical and hardware support. Technicians
assist end users by resolving their minor hardware,
software, and technical support issues. This role ensures
computers, printers, software, equipment maintenance, and
trouble calls are resolved or assigned to the proper section
for resolution, repair or maintenance. PC Technicians pursue
and perform the tasking related to the technical hardware
life cycle, including hardware research, purchase, build,
implementation, inventory, monitor, and repair of a variety
of Organizational I.T. oriented equipment. While the primary
role of the PC Technician is hardware deployment,
maintenance, inventory, and repair, the PC Technicians are
also available for secondary Helpdesk Call Center assistance
and may be assigned to answer helpdesk calls. The PC
technician may also conduct or coordinate a variety of
training sessions, workshops and seminars for hospital


- Minimum Education

- Associates Degree in Computer Science or Information
Systems; or 2 years of experience in information technology lieu of degree

- Minimum Experience

- 1-2 years experience in a networked computer environment

- Current experience with relevant computer technologies
