Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Company, is seeking an engaged student for the development and refinement of interior engineering and manufacturing processes\. Qualified candidate will be performing work in the areas of engineering design and industrial/manufacturing engineering to identify improvements in the areas of design for manufacturability within the Interior Engineering organization\. The position will include collaboration and building upon project work initiated with the A\-section COOP position at Cessna\.
Job Responsibilities \(may include, but not limited to\):
+ Generates concepts for engineering processes and design recommendations that fully define interior component requirements\.
+ Plans and participates in observation and data gathering exercises, engineering research, design, development, and manufacturing to develop a successful project\.
+ Collaborates with engineering, operations, and supply chain to develop, implement, monitor, and status the progress of a given project\.
+ Schedules work to meet project completion dates\.
+ Responsible for final project presentation to Senior Leadership\.
+ Performs all duties within the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines\.
+ Completion of at least 60 hours towards Bachelor of Science in Engineering \(Mechanical or Electrical preferred\)\.
+ Prefer prior COOP experience with automotive OEM\.
+ Professional demeanor
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Willingness to work individually and in a team based environment
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Excellent problem identification and solving skills
