Job Description

The System administrators will install, upgrade and monitor software and hardware. … This individual will maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, web-servers, email, PCs, local and wide area networking both hardware and software and mid-range server hardware.

•Deploy Software operating systems
•Provide process and procedures for updates, patches, and implementation.
•Design, test and configure infrastructure and solutions for various applications and configurations of
•Utilize strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, or other endpoint system issues.
•Develops endpoint infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools using configuration language and scripting tools.
•Identifies and creates processes to integrate technology improvements into business processes.
•Responsible for projects including the implementation of remediation activities, patch management, and firmware updates in a highly complex environment.
•Provides Level 2/3 technical support in critical production support issues interacting with end

•Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent work experience.
•Two (2) years equivalent work experience in computer support information technology environment, and
desktop computing along with the ability to apply basic computer concepts, theories, principles and methods to projects, business problems, issues and/or questions.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Sharepoint and Ninja patching technologies
•Customer service driven.
•Strong team player.
•Ability to follow policies and procedures.

Work Environment and Essential Job Functions:

The office is located in a manufacturing facility. As such, while the primary environment will be an office setting, the position will require frequent visits to the production floor where the follow conditions may apply:
•May occasionally work in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 60 degrees.
•May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
•May be required to access elevated surfaces either by stairs or ladder.
•Noise level in the work environment may require use of hearing protection.

This position will require an employee to perform the following functions effectively.
•Effective use a computer keyboard, ?Effective use of telephone and other applicable electronic communication equipment.
?View and read spreadsheets, and other written documents, as well as computer monitors.
